For 50 years, the AIU has offered variety of unique, child-focused special education services for students with special needs. Our caring staff of highly-qualified teachers and therapists foster students' success by tailoring services to meet each student's individualized needs. We serve students ages 5 to 21-years old with a variety of multiple and complex needs.

The AIU operates three schools for children with multiple and complex needs that foster the growth of academic, social and employment skills needed for independence.
